  Grow Deep And Reach High

Weekly Tip #1

We trust that you had a good summer. The Fall term is upon us. Perhaps one of the most important areas to begin with is prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 says, “6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Whatever ministry you are involved in, spend time praying and ask the Holy Spirit to go before you. There is a lot of power in prayer.

Questionnaire

As you consider the beginning of your school year, a survey/questionnaire can be taken during the lunch or dinner hour. This is critical to helping you meet lots of new people. In fact, some of the people you connect with at the beginning of the school year will stay connected with you the entire year. Get off to a fast start, do a good job meeting lots of new people.

1. Here’s a link to doing a questionnaire that can easily work at your school: http://crupressgreen.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Surveys-and-Questionnaires1.pdf

Look at the surveys on pages 9,11,12.  Any of these can work. However, you’ll want to modify the one you use to include the name of your college.

Ask about 5 questions so people can do them quickly. The key is to be able to find out who is interested and how you can follow up on them.

2. For posters/flyers – check out this link: http://www.everystudent.info/c/topics.html  You have lots of options to fully customize your poster/flyers to invite students to your meetings.

3. Important Bible Studies to consider (model how to teach these studies so your disciples can teach them to others, that’s called multiplication):
