Weekly Ministry Tip #9
Consider for a few moments, some of the key blessings and benefits that is ours when we place our trust in Christ according to Ephesians 1. Below is a shortened version that cover a few key points (but not exhaustive):
“4 For He chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless… In love 5 He predestined us for adoption to sonship[… 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins…9 He[d] made known to us the mystery of his will… 11 In him we were also chosen,[e] having been predestined… 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth… When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance…”
These are truly amazing truths that relate directly to us once we have believed in Christ. There is no other greater blessings than being in right relationship to God through Christ under the power of the Holy Spirit. Amazing benefits!
Ideas For Next Steps In Ministry
Every Fall and Spring term in a college ministry or almost any other ministry, there is a limited number of weeks to actually do ministry. Every week we need to be as strategic as possible to see maximum growth in the lives of people, and give the greatest number who will listen, an opportunity to hear the message of Christ. Here are some things to think about:
- Looking back at last week’s tip, pick your next significant evangelistic push to gather a new group of students for your ministry.
- Think about taking your next Bible study through a recap and review of the “Knowing God Personally” booklet. Be sure that everyone knows the clear message of the Gospel and can help someone place their trust in Christ.
- Begin exposing everyone to the Winter Conferences in your region. Help everyone to begin planning in advance to consider going. I am personally going. Looking forward to it.
