This past weekend I had the opportunity to fly up to New England to visit my mom who is in a nursing home. The last month and a half her health had taken a turn for the worse so my brother and his wife felt it was important for me to come up. I’m so glad I did. Being in a nursing home, which is an “end of life” care facility, was hard but also helped me to realize that we have only one life to live. How will I continue to invest the rest of my life to make it count in eternity?

I was personally on two summer projects as a college student and since being on staff with Campus Crusade I have been on many more, both stateside and overseas.
