CRU Weekly Ministry Tip #15, Fall 2011
As you enter the last 2-3 weeks of your Fall term, there are three major things to be sure you prepare for as you lead your campus ministry.
Prepare For Your Regional Christmas/Winter Conference
The time to register is now. Help all the students who are interested in going to get their registrations in soon to be able to get the early discount. Also help any student who is struggling with making a decision to go. Here are some helpful documents. Also, some ideas for raising funds for the Christmas conference.
Prepare For Your Spring Term
Last weeks tip covered 10 important areas to prepare for your Spring Term. This is key for hitting the ground running in January. Be sure to re-visit the tip down below and go over them with your core leadership.
Have A Christmas Party To Celebrate Your Fall Term
Plan a fun party with a Christmas theme to celebrate what God has done this Fall Term on your campus. Be sure at the party to collect everyone’s personal contact information so you can stay in touch over the Christmas break. Then you’ll be able to send everyone a text and email to remind them of the first meeting back on campus when they return in January. Ideally, you will want to send everyone a communication the week before they return to campus. A second communication the day before they return would also be great.
