Seek God / Planning for Your Fall Term

Weekly Tip #8, Spring 2018

Psalms 34:4-7 Seek, Look To, Call Out, and Fear Him

When we truly seek God, look to Him, call out to Him, and fear Him, there are some great promises awaiting. Check out Psalms 34 and discover what God has to say in the second half of each verse. You’ll be very encouraged.

4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me;

he delivered me from all my fears.

5 Those who look to him are radiant;

their faces are never covered with shame.

6 This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;

he saved him out of all his troubles.

7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,

and he delivers them.

Planning For The Fall Term

There are two points to consider as you plan the end of your school year. First, if you have graduating or transferring student leaders, be sure you have carefully chosen a leadership team so that you can hit the ground running this fall. See section below “Roles, Goals, Responsibilities and Relationships”.

Second, take a fresh look at some of the planning you will want to work through, so you can have a great start this fall:

Roles, Goals, Responsibilities, and Relationships

Staff member Erin Brasher, highlighted the importance of understanding the roles, goals, responsibilities, and relationships of the leaders in your local ministry. Her main point is for us to work to get the right people in the right leadership positions so that more will be accomplished by using individual’s strengths and gifts.
