The Message That Should Keep Motivating Us

The Love of God is a powerful truth that we find in Scripture. Meditate on this passage in Romans 8:31-39 for a few moments:

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

There is no greater message that we can share with people all around us than the amazing love that God has for us. God did not spare His own Son but gave Him up, who would later rise from the dead. True and eternal life transformation begins when God gets a hold of someone’s life and they place their trust in Him. God just might use you today as His representative to bring that life-changing message to someone.

Final Big Event For The Season

Snow Mountain

Well, you guessed it, the Christmas holiday is starting to kick in again. Just watch commercials everywhere and try going shopping. This is always a perfect opportunity to proclaim Christ. This year, be very intentional to share the Gospel message which all began with His birth. Do a Bible study or message in your current ministry situation that shows all the OT prophecies that were fulfilled surrounding the coming of Christ.

Go for one more big event in your ministry location that clearly points out the reason we celebrate Christmas. As believers we can use this occasion to proclaim that the Messiah came to earth, born of a virgin, born exactly as predicted in Scripture, and He came to sacrifice His life that all men might have eternal life. That’s the true message of Christmas.

Be creative as you meet with your leadership team. Have a Christmas or Thanksgiving party and take the time to truly explain the reason for the season. You will have a tight window to do follow-up before people leave for the holiday. Go for it!
