Fall Retreat/Keep Reaching Out
Fall Retreat
Now is that time in your fall semester when you want to encourage students to attend your local fall retreat. Even if you’ve just started up your ministry this fall, ask your staff coach when and where the nearest fall retreat is being held. Fall retreats are a great place to expand your vision for your campus ministry and encourage your walk with God. Also, you will be with other like-minded students that you can be encouraged by and learn how they’re doing ministry on their campus.
The old saying that “God does as much in the life of a student in that one weekend as He does in a semester of one on one discipleship.” still rings true.
Keep Reaching Out
Below are three important articles for you to consider. Continue reaching out on your campusand inviting students to get involved in your ministry and helping them understand the gospel message. If you fail to keep reaching out, your ministry is in danger of simply hitting a plateau and possibly diminishing. Check these articles out and ask God to show you how you might apply them to your campus:
