The Full Picture of Your Ministry on Campus

Sometimes we need to review and renew our perspective on what our goals and strategy is on campus.  Time is always short and we need to make the most of every week.  Each day is a blessing from God to advance his kingdom.  Give it all you’ve got right where God has you.  Consider these passages;

Ephesians 5:15-16 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

Psalms 90:12 Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

Campus Crusade’s executive team member, Ken Cochrum, had this to say recently on his blog: “Do you want to help your disciples assess where they are on their journey toward becoming a Christ-centered lifetime laborer? Here is a simple one-page tool that has been used on campuses around the world to keep students (and staff) focused on the mission. The “Making Disciples and Launching Movements” tool: http://www.onleadingwell.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Making-Disciples-and-Launching-Movements-2010.pdf

As you look at this one-page overall campus strategy, gather your student leaders on campus and ask these questions:

Students from George Mason Uni. arriving at the Big Break in March
  1. What have we done well on campus this semester/term?
  2. Where are we in the process of this chart?
  3. Where might we have fallen short in our work and strategy on campus?
  4. What can we do from here to do all we can to reach our campus and stay on track?

It is always a good idea to stop and access where we are in our goals to establish a solid movement on our campus.  Be sure to capture the full picture of your ministry on campus.

Talk to you next week,
