Weekly Ministry Tip #3

Remember God

Psalms 63:2 “I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.”

Read this passage in context of verses 1-8 of Psalm 63. David is perhaps remembering a time when he experienced the joy of knowing God, and was present in the tabernacle in Jerusalem. In times of difficulty, one needs to remember that God is near and working despite our feelings. How about you? Do you remember a time when you felt close to God? Do you recall a time when public worship was intimate and alive in your local church or ministry gathering? What was it like?

God is still present in all circumstances of life and He is trustworthy. We can know that He is still with us today. We can keep moving forward in His grace.

Help Everyone Find Their Place To Serve

I have added a new and very simple Bible study to help those in your ministry understand the steps to continue growing. It includes: Inviting, Serving, Telling, and Belonging. Check out the Bible study here. The study is very brief but will give everyone a chance to see what part they can play in furthering God’s ministry on your campus, church, city, or wherever you serve. Give it a try – in a group setting it will take about 30 minutes. The application and big take away for this weeks ministry tip is found at the bottom of the study. Check it out.

Talk to you next week,
